A MUNICIPAL ORDER ACCEPTING THE TRANSFER OF A
REMOTE OPERATED ROBOT FROM MCCRACKEN COUNTY FISCAL COURT
WHEREAS, The Kentucky Emergency Management Agency has received
funding from the US Department of Homeland Security. The McCracken County Fiscal
Court applied for and received an award from the Kentucky Emergency Management
Agency on behalf of all local emergency response agencies. The result of the award was
authorization to purchase a $130,000 Remote Operated Robot for the City of Paducah
Police Department Bomb Squad with no local match required.
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTIONI . The City of Paducah hereby accepts the transfer of this
grant -fund -purchased Remote Operated Robot from McCracken County.
SECTION 2. This Order shall be in full force and effect from and after
the date of its adoption.
