A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE APPLICATION FOR A LAND
AND WATER CONSERVATION FUND GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $75,000.00,
THROUGH THE KENTUCKY GOVERNOR'S OFFICE FOR LOCAL DEVELOPMENT
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute an application and all
documents relating to same, requesting a Land and Water Conservation Fund matching grant in
the amount of $75,000.00 through the Kentucky Governor's Office for Local Development
administered by the National Park Service. These funds will be used for construction of Phase I
Outdoor Skatepark located in Noble Park.
SECTION 2. Local matching funds will be in the amount of $75,000.00 from a
variety of local match sources.
SECTION 3. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption. .
