A MUNICIPAL ORDER TO SET RENTAL FEES FOR THE USE OF
CERTAIN PARK FACILITIES IN CITY PARKS
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
WHEREAS, The Paducah Parks Services of the City of Paducah,
Kentucky, proposes to charge a rental fee for the use of certain park facilities in some city
parks.
SECTION 1: The City of Paducah hereby sets new rental rates for park
facilities in City of Paducah Park as follows:
• Amphitheatre will rent for $100 daily
• Park facilities: 8, 10, 16, 19 and the Bandstand will rent for $75 daily.
• Park facilities: 5, 7, 11 and 12 will rent for $50 daily.
• Park facilities 1, 3, 9, 17 and 20 will rent for $25 daily.
Renters will be provided a contract that can be used to determine
preference for a particular day. Each shelter will have a sign designating the rental price,
availability and contact information for rental inquiries. Any shelter not rented will be
available on a first come -first serve basis. Additional fees may be charged for utilities,
set-ups, damage deposits or other services performed.
SECTION 2. There shall be no free rentals except to City -related entities
or City -sponsored and/or participative activities. A twenty percent discount may be
applied to approved non-profit groups at the discretion of the Parks Services Director.
Persons residing outside or making reservations for entities outside of McCracken
County will not be allowed discounts and will have a fifty per cent (50%) surcharge on

SECTION 3. The Director of Parks Services is hereby authorized to
establish policies for reservations and use of all park facilities in all City Parks. The
Director of Parks Services shall have the authority to supersede any reservation if it is
deemed in the best interest of the City and may reserve all facilities for City sponsored
events.
SECTION 4. These rates shall become effective January 1, 2005 for
rentals occurring after April 1, 2005.
SECTION 5. This Order will be in full force and effect/ from and after the
date of its adoption.
