MUNICIPAL ORDER NO. 1081
A MUNICIPAL ORDER ADOPTING A 2 -YEAR GRADUATED
WAGE SCALE FOR EMPLOYEES IN SPECIFIED CLASSIFICATIONS
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah adopts a Two Year Graduated
Wage Scale for employees in the following classifications:
Collector
Class A Truck Driver
Knuckleboom Operator
Truck Driver
Class A Mechanic
Fire Equipment Mechanic
Compost Equipment Operator
Janitor
Laborer
Equipment Operator
Right -of -Way Maintenance Person
Concrete Finisher
Traffic Technician
Maintenance Specialist
Maintenance Person #1
Floodwall Operator
SECTION 2. That the wage scale authorized in Section 1 above, shall
TFstart on the newly hired employee's date of hire with a minimum hire rate of 80% of
maximum, and increase 5 percentage points every six months until the employee reaches
100%. The City may hire employees into skilled positions at wage rates between 80%
and 100% of the full wage for the position based on the relevant qualifications of the
applicant.
SECTION 3. These changes shall be effective July 26, 2004.
SECTION 4. This Order will be in full force and effect from and after the
date of its adoption.
