That Table 2, "Classifications/Pay Schedule, Non -Civil Service, Police and Fire for Salary Amendments in the Fire Department" is hereby amended to increase the number of sworn police officers to 83. Special duty pay shall be discontinued upon reassignment of a police officer to duties other than the D.A.V.E., detectives, or bomb technician. * A police officer who is regulary assigned to traffic coordinator duties by the Chief of Police and with the approval of the City Manager, shall receive an additional seventy-five dollars ($75.00) per-bi-weekly pay period. 11 61912004 MUNICIPAL ORDER NO. 1071 A MUNICIPAL ORDER ABOLISHING AND RE-CREATING TABLE 3 --GRADE, CLASSIFICATION AND SALARY RANGE FOR CITY OF PADUCAH EMPLOYEES WHEREAS, the City of Paducah, Kentucky, engaged Mercer Human Resource Consulting Firm to conduct a Pay and Classification Study for all employees employed by the City of Paducah; and WHEREAS, the City now desires to implement said study by creating a new Table 3—"Grade, Classification and Salary Range". BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That Table 3, "Grade, Classification and Salary Range," for employees of the City of Paducah is hereby abolished. SECTION 2. That the City of Paducah hereby adopts a new Table 3, "Grade, Classification and Salary Range," as attached hereto and incorporated by reference as if fully set forth herein and shall become effective June 14, 2004.
