AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF HARPER CONSTRUCTION,
LLC FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE GREENWAY TRAIL PHASE II PROJECT, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid of Harper Construction,
LLC in the amount of $672,502.45 for construction of the Greenway Trail Phase II Project, said
bid being in substantial compliance with bid specifications, and advertisement for bids, as
contained in the bid of Harper Construction, LLC„ of August 14, 2013..
SECTION 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with
Harper Construction, LLC for construction of the Greenway Trail Phase II Project, authorized in
Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents
heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to the Greenway Trail Phase II
Account — PA0078.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
