A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE ALL
DOCUMENTS NECESSARY TO OBTAIN A 2004 MATCHING SAFETY GRANT IN THE
AMOUNT OF $2,500 FROM THE KENTUCKY LEAGUE OF CITIES FOR THE PURCHASE
OF TRAFFIC SAFETY VESTS AND ANCILLARY SAFETY EQUIPMENT FOR THE
POLICE DEPARTMENT
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute all documents necessary
to obtain a 2004 matching safety grant in the amount of $2,500 from the Kentucky League of
Cities for the purchase of reflective traffic safety vests and ancillary safety equipment for the
Police Department. Matching funds in an amount not to exceed $2,500 will be provided by the
Police Department.
SECTION 2. This order will be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption.
