The amount of "specialty pay' an employee in the classification will receive per hour will be $0.35 or $0.50 cap depending on the certifications required for the position. The following positions are (1) Traffic Technician -Certification - Journeyman Electrician $0.35 or IMSA Level 11 Signal $0.50 (2) Maintenance Specialist -Certification -3rd Journeyman Cerfification (HVAC/ELEC/PLMB) $0.50. (3) Maintenance Person 1 -Certification -Journey Certification (HVAC/ELEC/PLMB) $0.35 or Welder Certification $0.35 (4) Class A Mechanic -Certification -3 ASE Certifications $0.35 or Welder Certification $0.35 or ASE GOLD Level Certification $0.50. The maximum hourly rate increase for any certified employee in the above classification will be caped at $0.50/hr. To remain eligible for "specialty pay" the employee must remain in one of the classifications eligible for "specialty pay".
