A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE APPLICATION FOR A 2004
RECREATIONAL TRAILS REIMBURSEMENT MATCHING GRANT IN THE AMOUNT
OF $50,000.00, THROUGH THE KENTUCKY DEPARTMENT FOR LOCAL
GOVERNMENT FOR CONTINUED TRAIL CONSTRUCTION FOR THE GREENWAY
TRAILS PROJECT
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute an application and all
documents relating to same, requesting a 2004 recreational trails reimbursement matching grant
in the amount of $50,000.00 through the Kentucky Department for Local Government. These
funds will be used for continued trail construction on the link from Perkins Creek Nature
Preserve, through Stuart Nelson Park and to Bob Noble Park for the Greenway Trails Project.
SECTION 2. Local matching funds will be in the amount of $50,000.00.
SECTION 3. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption.
