MUNICIPAL ORDER NO. 191
A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE APPLICATION FOR A
FEDERAL SURVEY AND PLANNING FUND MATCHING GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF
$5,000.00, THROUGH THE KENTUCKY HERITAGE COUNCIL FOR EVALUATION AND
TRAINING OF THE CITY'S HISTORIC PRESERVATION AREAS
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute an application and all
documents relating to same to request a federal survey and planning fund -matching grant in the
amount of $5,000.00 through the Kentucky Heritage Council. This grant will provide for a
consultant to evaluate the City's existing historic preservation ordinances and to conduct training
and education programs for the Historic Architectural Review Commission, residents of Lower
Town, contractors, and real estate agents.
SECTION 2. The 40% required match would come from in-kind services in the
amount of $2,031.57 and a cash match in the amount of $1,870.00.
SECTION 3. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption.
