A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE APPLICATION FOR A
NATIONAL PARK SERVICE MATCHING GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $75,000.00,
THROUGH THE KENTUCKY DEPARTMENT FOR LOCAL GOVERNMENT
011 BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute an application and all
documents relating to same, requesting a matching grant in the amount of $75,000.00 through the
Land and Water Conservation Fund administered by the National Park Service. These funds will
be used for the renovation of the amphitheater in Noble Park.
SECTION 2. Local matching funds will be in the amount of $75,000.00, or will
be an in-kind donation of staff time.
SECTION 3. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption.
