A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE APPLICATION FOR A
BOATING INFRASTRUCTURE GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $5,625,000.00, THROUGH
THE FISH AND WILDLIFE SERVICE IN THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF
INTERIOR FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A MARINA ON THE OHIO RIVER
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute an application and all
documents relating to same, requesting a National Boating Infrastructure Grant in the amount of
$5,625,000.00 through the Fish and Wildlife Service in the United States Department of Interior.
These funds will be used for the construction of a $7.5 million marina on the Ohio River.
SECTION 2. Local matching funds will be in the amount of $1,875,000.00.
SECTION 3. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption.
