A MUNICIPAL ORDER ADOPTING AMENDMENT NO.1 TO THE
REVISED ADMINISTRATIVE PLAN FOR SECTION 8 EXISTING HOUSING
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah adopted Municipal Order No. 1129, on
March 22, 2005, adopting a Revised Administrative Plan for Section 8 Existing Housing
which provides decent, safe and sanitary rental housing assistance for eligible families
and to provide opportunities, promote self-sufficiency and economic independence for
Section 8 participants and;
WHEREAS, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development has
issued a notice to assisted housing agencies to provide rental assistance to those families
that have been displaced by natural disaster (specifically Hurricane Katrina); and
WHEREAS, the City desires to amend this plan in order to comply with
the request from the U.S. Department of Housing.
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah adopts Amendment No. 1 to the
Revised Administrative Plan for Section 8 Existing Housing for the City of Paducah.
SECTION 2. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the
date of its adoption.
