A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN
APPLICATION FOR A FIRE PREVENTION AND SAFETY GRANT THROUGH THE
DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY, OFFICE FOR DOMESTIC PREPAREDNESS
(� IN THE AMOUNT OF $295,000, FOR FUNDING TO PURCHASE A MOBILE CASCADE
SYSTEM AND POWER GENERATORS FOR EACH FIRE STATION
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a grant application to
obtain a Fire Prevention and Safety Grant through the Department of Homeland Security in the
amount of $295,000, for funding to purchase a mobile cascade system and electrical power
generators for each fire station. Local cash match will be in the amount of $32,800.
SECTION 2. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption.
