HomeMy WebLinkAboutMO # 1196MUNICIPAL ORDER NO. 1196 A MUNICIPAL ORDER ACCEPTING THE TRANSFER OF REAL PROPERTY LOCATED BETWEEN CAMPBELL STREET AND PARK AVENUE ADJACENT TO THE CONVENTION CENTER PARKING LOT AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED FOR SAME BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. The City of Paducah hereby accepts the transfer of a tract of real property adjacent to the Julian Carroll Convention Center between Campbell Street and Park Avenue from Midwest Terminal, Inc. SECTION 2. That the property authorized in Section 1 above, heretofore approved for acceptance, is more particularly described as follows: A portion of property depicted as Parcel "A" on the plat entitled "Campbell Street Right of Way Dedication for the City of Paducah" located adjacent to the City of Paducah Floodwall between Park Avenue and Campbell Street as surveyed by Jeffrey K. Clark, P.L.S. No. 3117. Said plat is recorded in the McCracken County Court Clerk's office in Plat Book L Page 1487. The parcel of property contains: Parcel "A" - 10,207.3 Square Feet The above-described property was originally part of a portion of property acquired by the Grantor by deed recorded in the McCracken County Court Clerk's office in Deed Book 688 Page 812 dated June 16, 1986. SECTION 3. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a deed and any necessary documents relating to same to accept the real property from Midwest Terminal, Inc. SECTION 4.
