MUNICIPAL ORDER NO. 1212
A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE APPLICATION FOR A
PRESERVE AMERICA MATCHING GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $150,000,
FROM THE NATIONAL PARK SERVICE FOR ASSISTANCE IN THE
DEVELOPMENT OF MARKETING PADUCAH AS A HISTORIC AND CULTURAL
TOURIST DESTINATION
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute an application
requesting a Preserve America matching grant in the amount of $150,000.00, from the
National Park Service for assistance in the development of marketing Paducah as a
historic and cultural tourist destination.
SECTION 2. Local cash matching funds will be in the amount of
$150,000, and may be cash and/or in-kind contributions.
SECTION 3. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the
date of its adoption.
