HomeMy WebLinkAboutMO # 1409M-1 MUNICIPAL ORDER NO. 1409 A MUNICIPAL ORDER APPROVING AND ADOPTING PREMIUMS AND REVISIONS FOR THE COMPREHENSIVE HEALTH INSURANCE BENEFIT PLAN FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2009 FOR EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah approves and adopts the following monthly health insurance premiums for calendar year 2 -Off o NON -TOBACCO USER PREMIUM 1) Add a Drug Card to the Elite plan. 2) Abandon the City's third plan option, the Enhanced Plan. 3) Increase the co-insurance benefits on the Elite Plan from 90%/10% to 800/o/20%. 4) Increase the City's allocation for health insurance costs to employees who participate in the City's health plan from $7,956 to $8,500. 5) Allow employees to retain the benefit of funds in a Health Reimbursement Account after they leave the City provided they have at least five years tenure. SECTION 3. That the premiums and revisions for the Comprehensive Health Insurance Benefit Plan for Employees approved and adopted in Sections 1 and 2 above shall become effective January 1, 2009.
