MUNICIPAL ORDER NO. 1285
A MUNICIPAL ORDER AMENDING CLASSIFICATION/PAY
SCHEDULE TABLE AND GRADE, CLASSIFICATION AND SALARY RANGE FOR
CITY OF PADUCAH EMPLOYEES
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the "Classification/Pay Schedule Table" and "Grade,
Classification, and Salary Range", for employees of the City of Paducah, are hereby
amended as follows:
Police: Increasing the steps of the Police Assistant Chief
positions; reducing the number of Police Assistant
Chief positions from 3 to 2; and increasing the staffing
level of sworn Police Officers from 60 to 61.
Fire: Increasing the steps of the Fire Assistant Chief
positions; and establishing the salary of the Deputy Fire
Marshall positions.
Public Works: Establishing the salary of the Lead Traffic
Tech/Licensed Electrician and Journeyman Carpenter
positions.
SECTION 2. This Order will be in full force and effect from and after the
date of its adoption.

'A police officer who is regularly assigned to investigative duties in the Drug and Vice Enforcement Unit (D.A.V.E.), as a detective,
K-9 officer, Emergency Response Team member, Crisis Intervention Team member, Accident Reconstruction Team
member
or bomb technician by the Chief of Police and
with the approval of the City Manager, shall after the first thirty (30) days of such
assignment, receive additional compensation of forty dollars
($40) per bi-weekly pay period effective December 29, 1992.
Special
duty pay shall be discontinued upon reassignment of a police
officer to duties other than those described above.
