A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE A GRANT APPLICATION WITH THE KENTUCKY STATE POLICE FOR A
GOVERNOR'S 2008 HIGHWAY SAFETY PROGRAM GRANT
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute a grant
application and all other documents necessary with the Kentucky State Police for a Governor's
2008 Highway Safety Program reimbursement grant in the amount of $52,067. Said grant funds
shall be expended for overtime traffic enforcement activities and traffic enforcement related
supplies and equipment provided by police officers in the Paducah Police Department. This
program does not require any local cash or in-kind match.
SECTION 2. This Order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption.
