A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE A LETTER OF INTENT TO ARIZON STRUCTURES TO PROVIDE
SERVICES TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH FOR THE MARKETING AND SALE OF
�. THE AIR STRUCTURE ALSO KNOWN AS THE DOME AND ASSOCIATED
EQUIPMENT
WHEREAS, in December of 2009 a dome was purchased to replace lost
vendor space with the demolition of the Executive Inn; and
WHEREAS, the current location of the dome site has now been
established as the location of the new convention center area; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2-668 of the Code of Ordinances of the
City of Paducah, Kentucky, a written determination has been made by the City Manager
that the City does not have any use at this time or in the future for the air structure (dome)
which is approximately 271' x 141' x 43'; and
WHEREAS, Arizon Corporation, the manufacturer of the dome, has
submitted a proposal to provide services for the marketing and sale of the dome structure
and associated equipment at a charge to the City of 10% of any sale of the structure for
their services with a minimum charge of $10,000 for providing this representation.
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah hereby authorizes the Mayor to
execute a Letter of Intent to Arizon Structures to provide services to the City for the
marketing and sale of the air structure also known as the dome and associated equipment.
SECTION 2. This Order shall be in full force and effect from and after
the date of its adoption.
