A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE ALL
DOCUMENTS NECESSARY TO OBTAIN A GRANT FROM THE KENTUCKY DIVISION
OF WASTE MANAGEMENT FOR A 2008-2009 KENTUCKY LITTER ABATEMENT
PROGRAM FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute all documents necessary
to obtain a grant from the Kentucky Division of Waste Management for a 2008-2009 Kentucky
Litter Abatement Program for the Public Works Department Street and Street Side Litter
Abatement programs. The grant amount will be based on a formula using the total number of
street miles within the City. No local cash or in-kind match is required.
SECTION 2. This order will be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption.
