A MUNICIPAL ORDER ACCEPTING THE TRANSFER OF REAL
PROPERTY LOCATED DIRECTLY BEHIND AND ADJACENT TO PADUCAH-
McCRACKEN COUNTY JOINT SEWER AGENCY'S WOODLAWN LAGOONS OFF
JOHN PURYEAR DRIVE IN PROXIMITY TO I-24 EXIT 11 THIS PARCEL OF
GROUND IS APPROXIMATELY 3400' LONG X 40' WIDE AND ADJACENT TO
THE PADUCAH FLOOD PROTECTION PROJECT AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED FOR SAME
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah hereby accepts the transfer of a tract
of real property located directly behind and adjacent to Paducah -McCracken County Joint
Sewer Agency's Woodlawn lagoons off John Puryear Drive in Proximity to I-24 Exit 11.
This parcel of ground is approximately 3400' long 40' wide and adjacent to the Paducah
Flood Protection project.
SECTION 2. That the property authorized in Section 1 above, heretofore
approved for acceptance, is more particularly described as follows:
Being in all respects a part of the same property conveyed to Paducah -
McCracken County Joint Sewer Agency by Deed dated August 20, 2002, of
record in Deed Book 987, page 587, McCracken County Clerk's office. See also
Deed dated December 9, 1999, of record in Deed Book 927, page 816,
McCracken County Clerk's office.
SECTION 3. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a deed and any
necessary documents relating to same to accept the real property from Paducah -
McCracken County Joint Sewer Agency.
SECTION 4. This Order shall be in full force and effect from and after
the date of its adoption.
