HomeMy WebLinkAboutMO # 1324114 MUNICIPAL ORDER NO. 1324 A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING DIFFERENTIAL PAYMENT FOR MILITARY ACTIVE -DUTY CITY OF PADUCAH EMPLOYEES, AND EXTENSION OF HEALTH INSURANCE TO FAMILY MEMBERS OF EMPLOYEES CALLED -UP TO MILITARY ACTIVE -DUTY BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That City of Paducah employees, in the Military Reserve or National Guard that are called to active duty be paid for a period up to eighteen (18) months the difference (if any) between their normal base salary as an employee, and active duty military pay. SECTION 2. That the City contribute to the cost health insurance benefits under COBRA provisions for families of employees called to military active duty the same amount the City would have paid if the employee remained in active service with the City. SECTION 3. That this policy be subject to annual review. SECTION 4. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its adoption. ATTEST: ,_ f4M4. 4MZ Tammara S.
