MUNICIPAL ORDER NO. 1388
A MUNICIPAL ORDER AMENDING THE CLASSIFICATION/PAY
SCHEDULE TABLE AND TABLE 3 PAY RANGES FOR THE EMPLOYEES OF
THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Classification/Pay Schedule Table is hereby
amended as follows:
1. Implement 3% salary increases for all full-time employees
effective July 1, 2008.
2. Increase the minimum wage hourly rate from $5.85 to $6.55 as
required by State and Federal law.
3. Abolish the Summer Youth Work Program classifications of:
Temporary Crew Leader, Seasonal Part -Time Summer Youth Corp
Administrative Assistant, and Seasonal Part -Time Summer Youth
Corp Leaders.
4. Change the Accountant and Payroll Accountant positions from
non-exempt to exempt status.
5. Create the hourly rate of $15.4691 for Police Officer Recruit
position for those recruits not having 30 college credit hours, one
year of full-time military service, or one year of sworn, full-time
law enforcement experience.
SECTION 2. That Table 3 -Pay Ranges is hereby amended to reflect the
following:
1. Change the pay grade of the Budget Officer and Revenue Manager
positions from 59 to 60.
2. Change the job title of Accountant II to Accountant.
SECTION 3. This Order will be in full force and effect from and after the
date of its adoption.
