A MUNICIPAL ORDER APPROVING THE EXECUTION OF AN ON-LINE
GRANT APPLICATION TO OBTAIN A 2013 EDWARD BYRNE MEMORIAL GRANT,
THROUGH THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE, IN THE AMOUNT OF $13,382.00, TO
BE USED BY THE PADUCAH POLICE DEPARTMENT
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah hereby approves the execution of an on-line
grant application to obtain a 2013 Edward Byrne Memorial Grant, through the U.S. Department
of Justice, in the amount of $13,382, to be used by the Paducah Police Department for the
purchase of 78 trauma kits; six Simunition conversion kits for patrol rifles; and Simunition
ammunition; four patrol rifles; and dayboxes for explosives. This grant does not require a local
cash match.
SECTION 2. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption.
