Home My WebLink About91-10-4685333 ORDINANCE NO. 91-10-4685 AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE AMOUNT TO BE CHARGED FOR A SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE CONNECTING TO CITY SANITARY SEWERS CONSTRUCTED BY THE CITY KNOWN AS THE CROOKED CREEK INTERCEPTOR PHASE III PROJECT AND PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF CONNECTION PERMITS, PROVIDING FOR THE PAYMENT OF CONNECTION CHARGES AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION OF THE PROVISIONS HEREOF KENTUCKY: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, SECTION 1. The charge for connection to the Crooked Creek Interceptor Phase III constructed by the City of Paducah, is established as follows: A. Connection Charges. (1) The charge for connecting a single family residence or a church to the Crooked Creek Phase III is established at $3,650.00. A separate fee shall be paid for each establishment regardless of whether the connection to the sewer system is by individual service line or shared service line. B. Service Lines. All costs far service lines including but not limited to boring or trenching (whether on or off of the right of way or easement) shall be paid for by the person connecting to the sewer system. SECTION 2. No connection to said sanitary sewer system shall be made by any property owner or other person, firm or corporation, except under permit for such connection issued by the City Engineering office of the City. SECTION 3. The City Engineering office shall not issue a connection permit set out in Section 2 hereof until the proper connection fee has been paid to the City Engineering office. SECTION 4. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to fail to make the connection required by Section 32-4 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah to the sanitary sewer construction in the above described territory. 334 SECTION 5. All ordinances or part of ordinances in conflict herewith, are to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed. SECTION 6.
