A MUNICIPAL ORDER ADOPTING THE FY2013-2014 PAY GRADE
SCHEDULE FOR THE EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
WHEREAS, to keep the pay grade schedule current with market Dr.
Victoria McGrath recommended a 1% increase as reflected in the schedule; and
WHEREAS, other changes to update the schedule are listed as follows:
Move Fire Assistant Chief position from pay grade P to Q. During
the McGrath compensation study, the consultant cited compression
in the Fire Department. This move, in tandem with the Position
and pay table adjustment from 4 to 9 steps for the position, relieve
the compression issue and create a more suitable path for Assistant
Chief progression.
Correct the GIS Specialist salary range to align with the grade of P.
Minor changes to EPW supervision titles to align with the Pay and
Position schedule; and
WHEREAS, in order to implement the changes it is necessary to adopt the
FY2013-2014 Position and Pay Schedule.
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah hereby adopts the FY2012-2013
Pay Grade Schedule for the employees of the City of Paducah, Kentucky as attached
hereto.
SECTION 2. This Order will be in full force and effect from and after the
date of its adoption.
