ORDINANCE NO. 91-6-4626
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 7-7.5 AND 7-7.6 OF
CHAPTER 7, BUILDINGS AND BUILDING REGULATIONS, OF THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah adopted the BOCA
National Existing Structures Code, Second Edition, 1987, by
Ordinance No. 87-4-2984; and
WHEREAS, the City now wishes to update this code
by adopting the BOCA National Property Maintenance
Code/1990.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. Section 7-7.5, Existing structures

code, is hereby amended to read as follows:
"That a certain document, one copy of which is on
file in the Office of the City Clerk of the City of Paducah,
being marked and designated as 'The BOCA National Z�kj$t444
$t"¢t"O$ Property Maintenance Code, $¢¢¢jid Third Edition,
1007 19901, as published by the Building Officials and Code
Administrators International, Inc. is hereby adopted as the
existing Structure Code of the City of Paducah, in the State
of Kentucky; for the control of buildings and structures as
herein provided; and each and all the regulations,
provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said BOCA
/ National Existing Structures Code are hereby referred to,
adopted and made a part here, as if fully set out in this
ordinance, with the additions, insertions, deletions and
changes, if any, prescribed in Section 2 of this ordinance."
SECTION 2. Section 7-7.6, Revisions, is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"(a) Section Z$- PM 100.1 (page 1, second line),
insert 'City of Paducah, Kentucky'.
"(b) Section U PM -100 9.2 (page 0 7, third line)
Insert ' not less
than ten dollars ($10.00) nor more than five
hundred dollars ($500.00)1.
"(c) Section U PM 110.2 (page 0 7, fourth line),
Insert 'not to exceed thirty
(30) days'.
Section PM -110.1 (page 8, ninth line) delete
'than two years'. Insert 'six months'.

BOCA National Property Maintenance Code,
shall be deemed to be the Fire Marshal of the
City of Paducah'.
"(j) The 'Code of Appeals Board' referred to in
the BOCA National Property Maintenance Code
shall be the Building Appeals Board of the
City of Paducah as set forth in Section 7-20
of the Code of Ordinances'."
SECTION 3. Nothing in this ordinance or in the
existing Structures Code hereby adopted shall be construed
to affect any suit or proceeding impending in any court, or
any rights acquired, or any liability incurred, or any cause
or cause of action accrued or existing, under any act or
ordinance hereby repealed, nor shall any just or legal right
or remedy of any character be lost, impaired or affected by
this ordinance.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon publication of
title and a certified summary thereof.

ORDINANCE NO. 91-6-4627
AN ORDINANCE REVOKING ORDINANCE NO 87-12-3099 AND
THE APPROVAL AND ACCEPTANCE OF THE SUBDIVISION PLAT OF THE
WILLIAM G. AND CAROLYN A. SKINNER PROPERTY, GENERALLY KNOWN
AS UNIT 1 OF THREE OAKS PARK SUBDIVISION
WHEREAS, the waiver of subdivision plat of the
William G. and Carolyn A. Skinner property, generally known
as Unit 1 of Three Oaks Park Subdivision, lying west of
Friedman Lane, was submitted upon motion of the Paducah
Planning and Zoning Commission to the Board of Commissioners
of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, for approval and
acceptance; and
WHEREAS, the aforesaid waiver of subdivision plat
was accepted by the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Paducah, Kentucky by Ordinance No. 87-12-3099, adopted on
December 11, 1987; and
WHEREAS, the aforesaid acceptance by the Board of
Commissioners was conditioned upon William G. Skinner, et
ux., obtaining a $50,000.00 performance bond with corporate
surety; and
WHEREAS, William G. Skinner, et ux,. never
fulfilled the conditions set forth in Ordinance No.
87-12-3099, and neither the subdivision nor the dedicated
right-of-ways has ever been constructed, and in fact,
William G. Skinner, et ux., have sold and transferred the
subject property; and
WHEREAS, in light of same, the City Engineer has
recommended that the aforesaid ordinance conditionally
approving the aforesaid subdivision be revoked.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 87-12-3099
conditionally accepting and approving the waiver of
subdivision plat of the William G. Skinner and Carolyn A.
Skinner property and generally known as Unit 1 of Three Oaks
Park Subdivision be revoked and that the approval and
acceptance of the aforesaid subdivision plat is also
revoked.
SECTION 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized to execute any and all documents necessary to
effectuate the aforesaid revocation.
- SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon publication of
title and a certified summary thereof.
