ORDINANCE NO. 91-7-4636
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE
PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF
PROPERTY LOCATED ALONG HIGHWAY 60 AND HOLT ROAD, AND
AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH
REZONING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That a resolution passed by the
Paducah Planning Commission on June 17, 1991, and
entitled, "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE
PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF
PROPERTY LOCATED ALONG HIGHWAY 60 AND HOLT ROAD", be
approved as the final report of said Commission respecting
the matters therein set forth.
SECTION 2. That the zone classification and the
map amendment proposed in said resolution be, and the same
are hereby, declared to be in agreement with the comprehen-
sive plan of the City of Paducah.
SECTION 3. That the zone classification of the
following described property be, and it is hereby, changed
from R-1, Low Density Residential Zone, to HBD, Highway
Business District Zone:
Beginning at point in the center line of Highway
60, said point located at the intersection of
Highway 60 and Holt Road if extended; thence in a
southerly direction along the east right-of-way
line of Holt Road a distance of 900 feet, more or
less, to a point in the east right-of-way line of
Holt Road; thence in a westerly direction a
distance of 735 feet more or less, to a point in
the center line of an unnamed, undeveloped road;
thence in a northerly direction a distance of 565
feet to a point in the center line of Highway 60;
thence in a westerly direction along the center
line of Highway 60 a distance of 975 feet, more or
less, to the point of beginning.
SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or
provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inopera-
tive, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency
or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall
not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof,
it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make
each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof
separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provi-
sions.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon publication of
title and a certified summary thereof.
