HomeMy WebLinkAbout91-9-4670302 ORDINANCE NO. 91-9-4670 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE CHANGE ORDER NO. 2 IN THE AMOUNT OF $46,357.37 WITH ASPHALT PAVING, INC. FOR CAIRO ROAD SEWER EXTENSION WHEREAS, the City entered into a contract with Asphalt Paving, Inc. for construction of Cairo Road Sewer Extension; and WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $19,165.50 was approved by Ordinance No. 91-4-4589 on April 9, 1991; and WHEREAS, Change Order No. 2 is required for various additions to the contract. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to enter into Change Order No. 2 in the amount of $46,357.37 with Asphalt Paving, Inc. for construction of Cairo Road Sewer Extension. This Change Order is attached hereto and incorporated herein as if set out in full. SECTION 2. The amount of the contract with Asphalt Paving, Inc. is amended to $440,363.62. SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to Account No. 55-33-05-470. - SECTION 3. This ordinance will be read on two separate days and will become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424. VO\-- GERRY B.
