ORDINANCE NO. 89-3-4219
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF H & G
CONSTRUCTION CO., INC. FOR RENTAL OF VARIOUS EQUIPMENT, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the
bid of H & G Construction Company for rental of the
following equipment, at the following per hour prices:
Tractor -Scraper $59.80
Dozer 40.00
said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid
specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized
by Municipal Order passed by the Board of Commissioners on
February 14, 1989, and as contained in the bid of H & G
Construction Co., Inc. of March 9, 1989.
SECTION 2.
That the Mayor be authorized to
execute a contract with H & G Construction Co., Inc. for
rental of the equipment listed above, according to the
specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents
heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3.
The purchase price for said rental
equipment shall be charged to Account Numbers 10-500-320-369
- Flood Construction; 10-500-330-354 - Street Paving &
Construction; 10-500-340-354 - Street Paving; 10-500-610-525
- Expansion & Development, Parks Department; 10-500-420-215
- Refuse Rental of Equipment; 10-500-150-494 - Contingency
Fund; 10-500-160-257 - Contract Repair Construction;
10-500-430-525 - Expansion & Development; 10-500-440-355 -
Sanitary Sewers; 10-500-440-356,- Storm Sewers;
10-500-240-274 - Trees, Weeds & Debris; and the Sewer
Depreciation and Extension Fund.

SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon publication of
title and a certified summary thereof.
