That Sub -section (a) of Section 2-47, Noncivil Service Employees, Generally, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 2-47. Noncivil service employees generally. (a) The monthly or hourly rate of compensation of the following noncivil service employees of the City of Paducah shall be the amount set opposite the designation of such employment, upon satisfactory completion of consecutive years of service in this position, and upon recommendation of the City Manager: No. of Position Positions Ass't. The Deputy Building and Deputy Electrical Inspector Trainee shall be promoted to the Civil Service position of Deputy Building and Deputy Electrical Inspector__upon_receiving necessary State certifications for the position of Deputy Building or Deputy Electrical Inspector. SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424. GER B.
