HomeMy WebLinkAbout92-4-4750471 ORDINANCE NO. 92-4-4750 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 802 CLARK STREET, 806 CLARK STREET AND 411-415 SOUTH 8TH STREET, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning Commission on March 16, 1992, entitled, "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 802 CLARK STREET, 806 CLARK STREET AND 411-415 SOUTH 8TH STREET", be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 2. That the zone classification and the J map amendment proposed in said resolution be, and the same are hereby, declared to be in agreement with the comprehen- sive plan of the City of Paducah. SECTION 3. That the zone classification of the following property be, and it is hereby, changed from R-3, Low/Medium Density Residential Zone, to A-1, Civic Center Zone: Beginning at a point in the intersection of Clark Street and South 8th Street; thence in a southerly direction along the center line of South 8th Street a distance of 201 feet to a point; thence in a westerly direction along the center line of a 10 foot alley, a distance of 140.5 feet to a point in the center line of another 10 foot alley; thence in a northerly direction a distance of 59 feet to a point in the center line of an 8.25 foot alley; thence easterly along the center line of said 8.25 foot alley to a point in the west property line of Ronald Alston, a distance of 34.5 feet; thence in a northerly direction a distance of 142 feet along the west property line of Ronald Alston to the center line of Clark Street; thence in an easterly direction along the center line of Clark Street to the center of the intersection of Clark Street and South 8th Street a distance of 106 feet which is the beginning. SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inopera- tive, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions. 472 SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter;4.CJSG B.
