ORDINANCE NO. 92-3-4734
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 8-33 AND 8-36 OF
CHAPTER 8, CEMETERIES, OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. Sec. 8-33, Price of grave lots sold under
single grave privilege, is hereby amended to read as follows:
"All grave lots sold in Oak Grove Cemetery and
additions thereto, including Rushing Addition, under what is
known as the single grave privilege, the price thereof is
hereby fixed at a minimum of f6�I/Hxlli¢��/XXXi�/a��XX�s�
,($1$01001 two hundred twenty-five dollars $225.00) per grave,
with certain exceptions requiring higher and lower prices as
follows:
(a) In the West Kentucky Mausoleum Building:
Crypts (top tier) $ 1,300.00
Crypts (second row from top) 1,400.00
Crypts (bottom 3 rows) 1,500.00
Alcoves (5 crypts) 10,000.00
Tombs (10 crypts) 15,000.00
(b) In the Mausoleum Addition:

SECTION 2. Sec. 8-36, Charge for opening and closing
graves; other cemetery services; deposit, is hereby amended to
read as follows:
"The charge for opening and closing of graves, for
the use of the receiving vault, and other cemetery services
shall be as follows:

Weekdays and after 1:00 p.m.. Monday:
Box or vault for adult
Child's or other grave under 6 feet
Cremains (without tent and chairs)
Cremains (with tent and chairs)

USE OF RECEIVING VAULT
The charges for use of the receiving vault pending
burial for the first,month, or part thereof
For any period of time in excess of the first month,
per month, or any part thereof
ADDITIONAL SERVICES
Setting government markers
All foundations for monuments will be poured by
the cemetery department at a per square foot
cost of

All additional services such as the planting, relocating or
removing of trees or shrubs, the construction or removal of
curbs, and such services shall be at actual cost or at
designated rates to be prescribed and determined by the
cemetery department superintendent.
Sec. 8-36.1. Late charges for services concluding
after 4:00 p.m.
There will be a late charge of sixty dollars ($60.00)
per hour for the first hour and forty dollars ($40.00) per hour
for each hour thereafter for services concluding after 4:00
holidays.
Sec. 8-36.2. No services on City recognized
The City of Paducah will provide no services on City
recognized holidays."
SECTION 3. All cemetery charges will be re-evaluated
on an annual basis.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
