AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY TREASURER TO
REIMBURSE JAMES L. PENNINGTON THE SUM OF $2,765.40 FOR
MOVING EXPENSES
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah and City Manager
entered into an Employment Agreement on June 7, 1990,
whereby the City agreed to pay moving expenses incurred by
the City Manager.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah pay the sum
of $2,765.40 to James L. Pennington, for moving expenses, in
accordance with an Employment Agreement executed on June 7,
1990, between the City of Paducah and the City Manager.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to
the General Administration Budget.
SECTION 3. In order to reimburse the City Manager
for out-of-pocket expenses in a timely manner, an emergency
is declared to exist and this ordinance will become effec-
tive immediately with one reading.
