AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF NATIONAL UTILITY
PRODUCTS COMPANY FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF 30 ADJUS-TO-GRADE
CASTINGS, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT
FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the
bid of National Utility Products Company for the purchase of
30 Adjus-to-Grade castings to be used for street paving
program, at the following prices, plus freight:
MB -2100 $105.00 ea.
NB 2100 $105.00 ea.
Said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid
specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized
by Municipal Order passed by the Board of Commissioners of
March 13, 1990, and as contained in the bid of National
Utility Products Company of April 21, 1990.
SECTION 2.
That the Mayor is hereby authorized to
execute a contract with National Utility Products Company
for sale to the City of adjustable manhole rings authorized
in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid
proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and
incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3.
This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 18-500-340-354.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon publication of
title and a certified summary thereof.
