ORDINANCE NO. 90-5-4425
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE
PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF
PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE BROOKS STADIUM PARK AREA AND
AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE -1976 SO AS TO EFFECT
SUCH REZONING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the
Paducah Planning Commission on April 17, 1990., entitled, "A
RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH
PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY
LOCATED IN THE BROOKS STADIUM PARK AREA", be approved as the
final report of said Commission respecting the matters
therein set forth.
SECTION 2. That the zone classification and the
map amendment proposed in said resolution be, and the same
are hereby, declared to be in agreement with the comprehen-
sive plan of the City of Paducah.
SECTION 3. That the zone classification of the
following property be, and it is hereby, changed from R-3,
Medium Density Residential Zone, to R-4, High Density
Residential Zone:
Beginning in the center line of "C" Street, being
160 feet south of South 21st Street; thence in an
easterly direction along and in the center line of
a 10 foot alley a distance of 400 feet to the
center line of "B" Street; thence in a southerly
direction, a distance of 445 feet to a point in the
center line of said "B" Street; thence in an
easterly direction a distance of 720 feet to a
point along the property line of Brooks Park and
the E.L. Metzger property; thence in a southerly
direction a distance of 365 feet to a point in the
rear property line of 1107 Mayfield Road; thence
in a southerly direction along the rear property
lines of 1107, 1139, 1145, 1201, 1207 and 1213
Mayfield Road to a point in the rear property line
of 1917 South 25th Street a distance of 381.65
feet; thence in a westerly direction a distance of
1,465 feet to a point in the center line of "C"
Street; thence in a northerly direction along the
center line of ""C"' Street a distance of 1,473.4
feet more or less, to the point of beginning.
SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or
provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inopera-
tive, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency
or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall
not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof,
it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make
each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof
separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provi-
sions.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon publication of
title and a certified summary thereof.
