ORDINANCE NO. 90-6-4451
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE
PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2722, 2724, 2732 -AND 2736 KENTUCKY
AVENUE, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE -1976 SO AS
TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the
Paducah Planning Commission on May 21, 1990, entitled, "A
RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH
PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY
LOCATED AT 2722, 2724, 2732 AND 2736 KENTUCKY AVENUE", be
approved as the final report of said Commission respecting
the matters therein set forth.
SECTION 2. That the zone classification and the
map amendment proposed in said resolution be, and the same
are hereby, declared to be in agreement with the comprehen-
sive plan of the City of Paducah.
SECTION 3. That the zone classification of the
following property be, and it is hereby, changed from R-2,
Low/Medium Density Residential Zone, to R-4, High Density
Residential Zone:
Beginning at a point in the center line of
Kentucky Avenue, said point being 33 feet from the
Olis L. Weeks east property line if extended;
thence in a westerly direction along the center
line of Kentucky Avenue, a distance of 230 feet to
a point in the center line of 28th Street; thence
along the center line of 28th Street a distance of
206.25 feet to the center line of a 24 foot alley;
thence along the center line of said alley in an
easterly direction a distance of 230 feet to a
point in said alley; thence in a northerly
direction along the east property line of Olis
Weeks a distance of 206.25 feet to the point of
beginning.
Further, that incorporated herewith and attached
hereto as an intergral part of said zoning map
amendment, and in accordance with the provisions
of KRS 100.203(2) and the City's Zoning Ordinance
(Sec. 83.03), is a development plan setting forth
vehicular ingress and egress, setbacks, parking
area, buildable area, and other stipulations
relating to and guiding the development of the
subject properties of this amendment.

SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or
provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inopera-
tive, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency
or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall
not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof,
it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make
each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof
separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provi-
sions.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon publication of
title and a certified summary thereof.
