A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE ALL
DOCUMENTS NECESSARY TO OBTAIN A GRANT FOR TECHNICAL SUPPORT
THROUGH THE ROADWAY SAFETY FOUNDATION FOR THE "SAFER ROADS:
BUILDING SAFETY INTO YOUR DRIVE PUBLIC EDUCATION AND AWARENESS
CAMPAIGN"
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute all documents necessary
to obtain a Roadway Safety Foundation Grant for technical support (not direct funding) valued
between $25,000 and $50,000. This grant is offered to pilot -test a "Safer Roads: Building Safety
IntoYour Drive Public Education and Awareness Campaign". Any award requirements for local
matching funds will be through in-kind donations of staff time and by using funds in existing
department budgets.
SECTION 2. This order will be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption.
