HomeMy WebLinkAbout93-2-4898ORDINANCE NO. 93-2-4898 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 FOR KENTUCKY AVENUE BOAT RAMP CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT WITH BUD DAVIS CONSTRUCTION AND LAND DEVELOPMENT INC. INCREASING THE TOTAL CONTRACT AMOUNT TO A SUM NOT TO EXCEED $35,771.69, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR PROTEM TO EXECUTE SAME WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 92-9-4843, the City approved an ordinance accepting the bid of Bud Davis Construction and Land Development Inc., in the amount of $34,389.25 for the Kentucky Avenue Boat Ramp construction and authorized the Mayor to execute a contract for same; and WHEREAS, Bud Davis Construction and Land Development Inc., has submitted Change Order No. 1 to the above referenced contract requesting the total sum due under said contract be increased by $1,382.44; and WHEREAS, said request has been approved by City Engineer Roger Colburn and City Manager Jim Pennington; THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That Change Order No.l for the Kentucky Avenue Boat Ramp construction contract with Bud Davis T Construction and Land Development Inc., increasing the total contract amount to a sum not to exceed $35,771.69 be, and hereby is, approved. SECTION 2. The the Mayor Protem be, and hereby is, authorized to execute Change Order No. 1 to the aforesaid contract. SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to account number 01-88-29-258. SECTION 4. This ordinance will be read on two separate days and will become effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
