ORDINANCE NO. 93-6-4952
An ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN
AGREEMENT AND OTHER RELATED DOCUMENTS WITH -
GUARD
CONSTRUCTION, INC., FOR THE DOWNTOWN REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT
LANDSIDE IN THE AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $1,178,344.4proposals for
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah requested
the downtown redevelopment project - landside; and
WHEREAS, VANGUARD CONSTRUCTION,
INC., submitted a
proect - landside and
proposal for the downtown redevelopment
pwork to complete the
said proposal will provide the necessary
project according to the request for bids.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute
an Agreement and other related documents with VANGUARD
CONSTRUCTION, INC., for the downtown redevelopment project -
landside in the amount not to exceed $1,178,344.45. This
agreement and other related documents are attached hereto and
incorporated by reference as if fully set out herein.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 42-88-20-466.
SECTION 3. An emergency is declared to exist due to
high water conditions normal for late fall and early winter so
that the project can be completed on time. Therefore, this
ordinance shall have one reading and become effective upon
passage. A summary of this ordinance shall be published
pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
