HomeMy WebLinkAbout87-7-3029106 ORDINANCE NO. 87-7-3029 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED ON STUART NELSON PARK ROAD, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE -1976 SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH:REZONING BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning Commission on June 15, 1987, entitled, "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON,THE.PROPOSED RE- ZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED ON STUART NELSON PARK ROAD", be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 2. That the zone classification change and the map amendment proposed in said resolution be, and the same are hereby, de- clared to be in agreement with the comprehensive plan of the City of Paducah. SECTION 3. That the zone classification of the following property be, and it is hereby, changed from R-3, Medium Density Residential Zone to B-3, General Business Zone: Beginning in the center line of Stuart Nelson Park Road, said point being 300 feet north of Highway 60; thence in a northerly direction along the center line of Stuart Nelson Park Road a distance of 1,573 feet to a point; thence easterly a distance of 18 feet to a point; thence northerly a distance of 99.1 feet to a point; thence in an easterly direction a distance of 322 feet to a point in the east property line of R. L. Brown and J. M. Brown, said point being the west property line of the Inez Johnson property; thence in a southerly direction a distance of 1,673 feet to a point in the southeast corner of the R. L. Brown and J. M. Brown property; thence in a westerly direction a distance of 340 feet to the point of beginning. SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs, and provisions. SECTION 5.
