HomeMy WebLinkAbout87-4-2992WA ORDINANCE NO. 87-4-2992 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED ON STUART NELSON PARK ROAD, AND'AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE -1976 SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning Commission on March 16, 1987, entitled, '!A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING. COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED RE- ZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED ON STUART NELSON PARK ROAD", be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 2. That the zone classification change and the map amendment proposed in said resolution be, and the same are hereby, de- clared to be in agreement with the comprehensive plan of the City of Paducah. SECTION 3. That the zone classification of the following property be, and it is hereby, changed from R-3, Medium Density Residential Zone to B-3, General Business Zone: Beginning at a point in the center line of Stuart Nelson Park Road, said point being the southeast corner of the Inez Johnson property and the Henson -Eubanks property; thence in a westerly direction a distance of 378 feet to a point; thence in a northerly direction a distance of 484 feet to a point in the northerly corner of the Neal Lane property and the E. Green property; thence in an easterly direction a distance of 378 feet to the center line of Stuart Nelson Park Road; thence in a southerly direction along Stuart Nelson Park Road a distance of 484 feet to the point of beginning. SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs, and provisions. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
