HomeMy WebLinkAbout87-2-297319 ORDINANCE NO. 87-2-2973 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT RENEWAL BETWEEN THE CITY OF PADUCAH AND CENTRAL PAVING COMPANY FOR VARIOUS EQUIPMENT RENTAL WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 86-1-2789, adopted by the City of Paducah on January 28, 1986, authorized the execution of a contract between the City of.Paducah and Central Paving Company for a period of one (1) year; and WHEREAS, the bid specifications contained a provision pro- viding for the renewal of said contract for 'a period of one year; and WHEREAS, This contract was executed on February 17, 1986. BE IT ORDAINED -BY -THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the Mayor is authorized to execute a con- tract renewal for a period of one (1) year with Central Paving Company for rental of the following equipment: Backhoe, $30.00 Dump Truck (tandem axle), $32.00 Motor Grader, $35.00 Dozer, $49.00 Pneumatic Roller, $32.00 Track Loader, $42.00 SECTION 2. The purchase price for said rental equipment shall be charged to Account Numbers 10-500-320-369 - Flood Construc- tion; 20-500-330-354 - Street Paving & Construction; 10-500-340-354 - Street Paving; 10-500-610-525 - Expansion & Development, Parks Depart- ment; 10-500-420-215 - Refuse Rental of Equipment; 10-500-150-494 - Contingency Fund; 10-500-160-257 - Contract Repair Construction; 10-500-430-525 - Expansion & Development; 10-500-440-355 - Sanitary Sewers; 10-500-440-356 - Storm Sewers; 20-500-240-274 - Trees, Weeds & Debris; and the Sewer Depreciation and Extension Fund. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become effective upon publication of a title and a certified summary thereof.
