DISMUKES III AND PHILIP DISMUKES OF A BOAT CHAIN IN MEMORY OF THEIR GRANDFATHER, JULIAN M. DISMUKES, AND SETTING FORTH CONDITIONS UPON SAID GIFT y WHEREAS, Julian M. Dismukes Jr., Julian M. Dismukes III, and Philip Dismukes own an iron boat chain which they desire to give to the City of Paducah; and WHEREAS, the City of Paducah is developing the Raymond Schultz Park and needs a chain for installation along the roadway; and WHEREAS, itis the intent of Julian M. Dismukes Jr.', Julian M. Dismukes III; and Philip Dismukes .to give the City of Paducah their Grandfather's boat..chan only upon certain terms and conditions which the City of Paducah:finds`acceptable. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the gift of Julian M. Dismukes Jr., Julian M. Dismukes III, and Philip Dismukes of an iron boat chain. The City of Paducah agrees irrevocably with Julian M. Dismukes Jr., Julian M. Dismukes III, and Philip Dismukes that the chain shall be used in the Raymond Schultz Park. If said chain would cease to be used in the Raymond Schultz Park or another park within the City of Paducah for similar purposes, title to the chain shall revert to Julian M. Dismukes Jr., Julian M. Dismukes III, and Philip Dismukes, their heirs and assigns. The City of Paducah will install a plaque designating the donation of the chain by Julian M. Dismukes Jr., Julian M. Dismukes III, and Philip Dismukes, in memory of their grandfather, Julian M. Dismukes. SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become effective upon publication of title and a certified �\ -jsummary thereof.
