ORDINANCE NO. 93-12- 5O -i/-9
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH
PLANNING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING FOR AREAS LOCATED
BETWEEN 24TH AND 27TH STREETS AND KENTUCKY AVENUE AND WASHINGTON
STREET, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE SO AS TO EFFECT
SUCH REZONING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That a resolution passed by the Paducah
Planning Commission on December 6, 1993, and entitled, "A
RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING
COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED ZONE CHANGE AND DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR
WESTERN BAPTIST HOSPITAL LOCATED ON KENTUCKY AVENUE AND WASHINGTON
STREET BETWEEN 24TH AND 27TH STREETS," be approved as the final
report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth.
SECTION 2. That the zone classification and the map
amendment proposed in said resolution be, and the same are hereby,
declared to be in agreement with the comprehensive plan of the City
of Paducah.
SECTION 3. That the zone classification of the following
described property be, and it is hereby, changed as follows:
R-2 to B-1
Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 of Block 23 of the west
end improvement company addition to the City of Paducah,
fronting 400.10 feet along Washington Street, 160.78 feet
along 24th Street and 160.65 feet along 25th Street,
containing 64,307 square feet, also that portion of a 25
foot wide alley being closed by the City of Paducah,
Ordinance 84-3-2492 and being 25 feet by 130.0 feet and
containing 3,250 square feet, for a total combined area
of 67,557 square feet.
R-2 to B-1
Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 of Block 22 of the west
end improvement company addition to the City of Paducah,
fronting 400.14 feet along Washington Street, 160.65 feet
along 25th Street, and fronting 160.64 feet along 26th
Street, containing 64,298 square feet.
R-4 to B-1
Lots 10,11,12 13, 14, 15 and 16 of Block 21 of the George
T. White subdivision of record in Plat Book "A", Page 145
in the McCracken County Court Clerk's Office, fronting
350.27 feet along Washington Street, 164.61 feet along
26th Street, and 164.69 feet along the east line of Lot
9 of the aforementioned subdivision, containing 57,681
square feet.
R-2 to B-1
Lot 1 of Block 21 of the George T. White subdivision of
record in Plat Book "A", Page 145 in the McCracken County
Court Clerk's office, fronting 49.84 feet along Kentucky
Avenue and fronting 165.17 feet along 26th Street,
containing 8,231 square feet.

Lots 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 of Block 21 of the George T.
White subdivision of record in Plat Book "A", Page 145 in
the McCracken County Court Clerk's office, fronting
349.68 feet along Kentucky Avenue, and fronting 165.07
feet along 27th Street, containing 57,726 square feet.
SECTION 4. That
of this ordinance shall be
if any section, paragraph or provision
found to be inoperative, ineffective
or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such
section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other
section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and
intent of this ordinance to make each and every section,
paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections,
paragraphs and provisions.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary publication
pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
