AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2-47.5, "NONCIVIL
SERVICE GENERALLY" OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 2-47.5 "Noncivil Service
Employees Generally", of the Code of Ordinances of the City of
Paducah, Kentucky, be amended so that same shall hereafter read
as follows:
"Section 2-47.5. Emergency Communications
Department.
There is hereby authorized and created the following
positions in the Emergency Communications Department, and the
salaries of each position that shall be paid upon satisfactory
completion of consecutive years of service, in this position,
and upon the recommendation of the City Manager."

"Those dispatchers designated as shift supervisors shall be
paid an additional $0.25 per hour during such times as they
actually serve in such capacity.
SECTION 2. This ordinance will be retroactive to
December 27, 1993.

SECTION 3. This ordinance will be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
