ORDINANCE NO. 94-8-12/917
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE CLOSING OF AN ALLEY
NEAR COUNTRY CLUB LANE AND VALLEY ROAD
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah does hereby
authorize the closing of an alley located near Country Club
Lane and Valley Road, and more particularly described as
follows:
Beginning at an existing iron rod located in the
northerly right-of-way margin of Buckner Lane,
saidiron rod being south 62 degrees 50 minutes 27
seconds west, 227.88 feet from the intersection of
the northerly right-of-way margin of Buckner Lane
and the westerly right-of-way margin of Country
Club Lane; thence leaving the northerly margin of
Buckner Lane north 42 degrees 16 minutes 02
seconds west, 592.48 feet to a point; thence north
62 degrees 50 minutes 27 seconds east, 13.60 feet
to a point; thence north 19 degrees 36 minutes 53
seconds east 7.78 feet to a point; thence south 42
degrees 16 minutes 02 seconds east, 598 feet to a
point located in the northerly margin of Buckner
Lane; thence with the northerly margin of Buckner
Lane south 62 degrees 50 minutes 27 seconds west,
20.72 feet to the point of beginning, containing
0.2725 acres or 11,868.5 square feet.
SECTION 2. The Corporation Counsel of the City of
Paducah, Kentucky, is hereby authorized, empowered and directed
to institute and prosecute, pursuant to KRS 82.405, an action
in the McCracken Circuit Court for a judgment ordering the
closing of the alley described in Section 1 above.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424..
