ORDINANCE NO. 95"8-:2S-330
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE CHANGE ORDER NO. 2 IN THE AMOUNT OF $81,761.47
WITH H & G CONSTRUCTION COMPANY INC. FOR THE KENTUCKY AVENUE
RELOCATION PROJECT
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 95-1-5246, adopted
January 31, 1995, the City approved a contract in the amount
of $1,390,885.01 with H & G Construction Company Inc. for
the Kentucky Avenue Relocation Project; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 in the amount of
$28,503 was approved by Ordinance No. 95-6-5296, adopted on
June 13, 1995; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 2 in the amount of
$81,761.47 is needed to provide a left turn lane into the
new main entrance of Western Baptist Hospital at the
intersection of Kentucky Avenue and 25th Street.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and
directed to execute Change Order No. 2 in the amount of
$81,761.47 with H & G Construction Company Inc. to provide a
left turn lane into the new main entrance of Western Baptist
Hospital at the intersection of Kentucky Avenue and 25th
Street.

Construction Company
SECTION 3.
The amount of the contract with H & G
Inc. is increased to $1,501,149.48.
This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 040-3314-532-4227. The Kentucky Department of
Transportation and/or Western Baptist Hospital shall reim-
burse the City for this expenditure.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
