AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF MT. VERNON ELECTRIC FOR
A VERTICAL TURBINE PUMP IN THE AMOUNT OF $23,055.00, FOR USE BY THE
DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL AND ENGINEERING SERVICES, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
0 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah accepts the bid of Mt. Vernon Electric for a
vertical turbine pump in the amount of $23,055.00 for use by the Department of Environmental
and Engineering Services, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications,
advertisement for bids, and as contained in the bid of Mt. Vernon Electric., dated June 27, 1995.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Mt.
Vernon Electric for the purchase of a vertical turbine pump, according to the specifications, bid
proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved.

SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to account no. 055-3310-532-
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
